Fun in the Snow Montana Style

Recently we have been blessed with several spurts of very cold zero degree weather along with lots of snow. We have tried to get out some to play and enjoy the cold. The cold weather sure makes you thankful for the warm summer time and beautiful sun.

Thanks for being patient with me on no picutres lately. Finally my blog is fixed and I can add pictures. Iam posting a few cute late Christmas pictures for you too see. We had Joel's dad and half brother here for Christmas and the weekend. It was fun to spend time with them although I was the only girl. :) Joels mom came over to visit for New Years so we caught up with the Pitsch family. Now if only we could have some PETERSEN visitors (mom and dad).

This week Ellie is staying with us as Jennifer and Tom are away for training. She has been a blessing and alot of fun to hang out with. Although both kids are sure wearing me out. :) This is a few cute pics of them playing in the yard together today. They are very attached and really do well together.( Minus the occasional little spat)

As you can see he has a appreciation for cute shoes. Apparently it is fun to wear mommys heals around the house.

First Snow

Winter hit Montana this weekend with a vengence, our beautiful fall was very short lived. It snowed all day Sat and Sun and got down into the 20's. So this morning Kadence and I bundled up and went outside for him to explore the first snow he remembers. At first he kept tipping over but got the hang of it pretty quick and was running around in no time. He kept kicking the snow with his boot and looking at me like, "what is this mommy".

Watercolor Paints

I recently thought it might be fun for little man to try his hand at painting. He did pretty well after he realized that the red wasn't ketchup and didn't taste good.

Fall Time

We have had a beautiful fall for the last two weeks. We took a trip to Rocky Creek Farm to look for a pumpkin. It was fun but Kadence was only really interested in riding on the wagon and not the pumpkins. Hence the grumpy face holding on to his pumpkin.
