Good Bye old Trees

You can see the little spots on the tree where the sap has come out trying to heal itself.

Recently we sadly learned that the big trees in front of our house have contracted the Pine Beetle disease. The Beetles lay little larvae eggs which then hatch and burrow into the trunk of the tree killing it. So all three must be cut down. I took a few cute pic of Kadence playing outside with his little friend Colton around the trees as a goodbye photo shoot. I can remember growing up with those trees so it is kinda sad.

An New Bed..

Our little boy has finally graduated out of his crib and moved into a "big boy" bed. Joel set it up last night for him and he was so excited that it was at his level and he could crawl in and out easily. During nap time today he insisted on having many of his stuffed animals with him to sleep. I am thankful it was an easy transition and he likes it.

Time around the house !

The following pictures are just cute snapshots that i have taken the past couple weeks. Kadence very much enjoys "helping" me around the house and doing whatever i'm involved in. He gets the job done just a little different but that is how you learn i guess.

He also really likes his books and spend time looking through them and likes to point out things he knows and does pretend reading to me. It is very cute and iam glad for his interest in books.

Play time outside

We have been having some very waqrm Montana weather which has given us a chance to play outside more lately. These are just a random mix in the yard i thought you would all enjoy.

Cool Dude

Kadence has recently become very interested in my sunglasses. Probally because he sees me wear them. I cought him last week running around the house like this. Notice they are on crooked but he still got them on. :) Silly boy !

Fun in the Snow Montana Style

Recently we have been blessed with several spurts of very cold zero degree weather along with lots of snow. We have tried to get out some to play and enjoy the cold. The cold weather sure makes you thankful for the warm summer time and beautiful sun.

Thanks for being patient with me on no picutres lately. Finally my blog is fixed and I can add pictures. Iam posting a few cute late Christmas pictures for you too see. We had Joel's dad and half brother here for Christmas and the weekend. It was fun to spend time with them although I was the only girl. :) Joels mom came over to visit for New Years so we caught up with the Pitsch family. Now if only we could have some PETERSEN visitors (mom and dad).
