Christmas Tea Party : Vintage Fasion Show Pictures
This hat is a beautiful brown hat that mom found for me and dates to the 1930's era.
This hat is one of mine and it dates to the 1920's.
I am finally getting around to posting a few of my favorites from the Vintage Fashion Show I helped put on. It was so much fun and my dear friend Yvonne did such a wonderful job of putting together the outfits. I loved the 1950's dress I got to wear it was so fun to see the different eras.
Ways to be a better friend.
4 Ways to be a Better Friend
1. People are the Priority:
What’s more of a priority than a person?
2. Live Maskless:
Bare your faults and the foibles and messy laundry room. The only way to see into another soul — is to be transparent yourself.
3. Speak Life:
Share freely of your feelings because this may just free us – of the prisons of protection we’ve bound ourselves in.
Put on the kettle. Set an extra plate at the table. Call her and ask her if she wants to go for walk. Write a letter. Pick up the phone.

My sweet sister Jennifer to me is such a grand example of a true friend she is always makes me a priority and has sweet calm words for her crazy sister on days I need to hear calm. Most importantly I don't think I ever really remember her speaking badly of another person. I love you Jennifer and thanks for teaching me about true friendship. Angela

Only speak words that make souls stronger — and speak ill of no one and well of everyone.

How to mop for Jesus’ sake
This encouraging blog gave me some wonderful encouragement today. Especially point #3 on loving our children when they are sick and grumpy. I also don't care for mopping or cleaning bathrooms and I think that is why I connected with these thoughts. I am re-posting the end question and would love to hear your thoughts.
What about you? What are some ways you can honor God in your work this week? Please share!
Love,
Angela

Grayson at 4 1/2 months
Look at me I am trying to learn to roll over...almost there folks. Mommy recorded this cute little video of me talking and trying to eat my toes last week.
Hope it brings a smile to your day.

Our week
This week Kadence has been fighting a ear infection and a little case of the flu. So we laid pretty low and tried to help him feel better. We found some interesting things to do and on one of the days we talked a lot about Noah's Ark and the animals that went on the Ark and those that died in the flood. So Kadence decided to make his ship into the Ark and loaded it up with dinosaurs. Only a few died in "his flood" as you can see all of them he piled on the Ark. It was fun and a good visual lesson for him.
This is Grayson chilling while Kadence and I were working on some of his preschool work. Whatever we do he is always with us smiling so sweet and reminding me of the blessings in the SIMPLE.

Shhhh... Don't Wake The Baby
Shhhhh...Don't Wake The Baby
by: Blu Cuelho 11/28/11
Dedicated to Grayson Pitsch, who inspired this poem
I tiptoe in, leaning down
I peer over the railing
tears come to my eyes in awe
of the miracle that lies
in the soft confines of the crib.
The cherub like face
laying softly on the bed,
the soft breathing
in out, in out.
A hand escaped
from the snug wrap,
lies lazily to the side,
little fingers curled
together, into a loose fist.
A faint glimpse of a smile
touches the soft lips,
then vanishes. Leaving us
with that feeling that
we just saw a taste of heaven.
I marvel at the perfection
we see mirrored in a baby's face.
My very precious babysitter gave me this poem last week that she had written. She said she worked on it while Grayson was sleeping. It brought tears to my eyes and is so special! I actually woke Grayson up trying to take a picture of him sleeping but the look on his face is so sweet I had to post it.

The days of Cereal.
Yes the time has already come for my littlest man to start trying solids. He actually liked it but the part of him actually swallowing didn't really happen. We will keep offering it and trying! Kadence was such a big brother and cheered him on so sweet in the eating process. Hard to believe Grayson is allready 4 months old.

The Peace of Winter
The Peacefulness of Winter...
Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
