Happy 3RD Birthday Kadence

Happy Birthday to our "Little Man" who turned the big 3 today.  Kadence had a dinosaur party complete with a pinata and masks. He received some very fun gifts and we all want to thank family far away for the wonderful presents and love they sent his way. It sure is exciting watching Kadence grow up and Joel and I are honored to be his parents. I hope the sequence of photos helps recreate his party and so you can all be part of it because you were with us in our hearts.

Potty Training Days

We have been tackling potty training very hard the last few weeks and so my camera has also followed us there. I am proud of Kadence trying although I would appreciate a little more effort. He is pretty good about telling me when he has to go and makes an effort most of the time. During this little session he had gotten into my makeup drawer and applied lipstick like he sees me do . Although he managed to get a hold of a tube of bright red lipstick which I never use and apply in to his lips. I really love the one of him trying to give me a kiss as I am taking his picture.

A Walk Down Memory Lane in the Winter.

Since my birthday falls in February I usually always associate some sort of winter fun along with it at this time of the year. So please indulge me as I dug into some old pictures of "fun in the snow". The best memories come to mind and those involve time spent with family and being together. I am reminded how quickly time passes us by and how important it is to cherish the time we spend and invest with those we love the most. I love you all and thank you for helping make me the person I am today.

President's Weekend Family Ski Day

We all had a FUN day at Bridger Bowl skiing and teaching Kadence how to ski. He has picled it up so quickly and doesn't want to wear a harness just go on his own. He even turned on his own around another kid instead of crashing. So we are quite proud of him and how fast he has picked up the skiing sport. He told me mommy," I want to ride the couch(ski lift) to the top of the mtn. please don't hold on to me I want to go fast". I think we have a little speed boy on our hands. It really was alot of fun and Joel and I were even able to get some runs in together in the afternoon thanks to my great friends hanging out with Kadence during nap time.

Valentine's Day 2010

Ladies Valentine Dinner...what a fun time of laughing, visiting and playing games together (no we were not playing poker BUT IT DOES LOOK LIKE WE ARE TRYING TO LEARN!)  I had so much fun and enjoyed getting to know some gals I haven't visited with in a long time.

 

 

My little Valentine Boy smelling the roses. He kept saying, "MMMM mommmy they smell yummy, so yummy I eat those!" Yes I know my child is sitting on the kitchen table but how else can you get a good photo of your child smelling roses ?
